iPhone: rethinking the mobile IA

Short Session, presented by Oliver Weidlich.

“What a difference an IA makes” or how I learned to love the mobile experience

The iPhone is a ‘game changer’ for the mobile phone industry for a number of reasons. One of the biggest changes is in the information architecture we expect for a mobile phone. For example, the home screen offers quick, direct access to a wide variety of option, it's highly customisable, but there isn't instant access to dialling numbers! We look at the impact of this new approach, and the IA of web applications and native applications on the device.
